Celebrating Together: A Heartfelt Thank You for a Memorable MSD Christmas Party

As the festive lights dim and the echoes of our joyous celebrations linger, Team MSD finds itself filled with immense gratitude. Our recent MSD Christmas party was not just a gathering; it was a vibrant night of smiles, laughter, and shared memories. Team MSD is immensely thankful to each one of you who joined us in celebrating the holiday season, making it a splendid affair.

A special shoutout to our HR department – your exceptional planning and organizing skills turned our party into an unforgettable event. Your tireless efforts in creating this magical evening did not go unnoticed. Kudos to the team for their meticulous attention to detail and for ensuring everything ran smoothly.

A heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers who played a pivotal role in the seamless execution of the event. From selling raffle tickets, distributing gifts, managing the food donation and toy donation tables, to overseeing registrations and more – your dedication was the backbone of this event’s success. Your willingness to step in and help wherever needed did not just make the event run smoothly, but also infused it with warmth and camaraderie.

To everyone who attended, Team MSD hopes you had an exceptional time. It was heartwarming to see everyone come together, celebrating not just the season but the strong bonds that we’ve built as a team. These moments of togetherness are what make our MSD community truly special.

This year was particularly special as we celebrated numerous milestones and achievements together. It was a reflection of our collective hard work, resilience, and dedication throughout the year. These moments of shared success are what make our MSD family truly unique and strong. An exciting highlight of the evening was the introduction of the ‘Core Value Recipient Award’. This award symbolizes the essence of our values and the embodiment of our shared ethos. Congratulations to the  recipients – Gabe Oliva, Luke Cameron, and Joe Shank. Your unwavering commitment, exceptional work ethic, and dedication to living our values to the fullest are an inspiration to us all. You consistently give 100%, setting a remarkable example for all of us.

Looking ahead, Team MSD is filled with excitement for what the next year holds for us. Let’s carry forward this spirit of unity and joy into the new year and beyond. Thank you once again for being a part of our cherished MSD family and for making the Christmas party a night to remember.

Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season and a prosperous new year!

WPAFB Sensors Lab

Wright-Patt Air Force Base sought contractors to renovate and add onto the Sensors Lab. The HVAC portion of the project was over $13 million.

  • MSD served as the Design Assist Contractor in conjunction with Heapy Engineering for this project. In collaborating with General Contractor, Butt Construction, MSD provided Design Assist solutions for the following:
    • A large, anechoic chamber
    • An outdoor range
    • Multiple, Class-100 clean rooms
    • A three-story office building addition with DCID 6-9 requirements on many of the rooms

WPAFB Chilled Water System

The chilled water system at a high-security building on the Air Force Base was undersized and unable to keep up with demand. The facility could not operate without chilled water due to the amount of information servers in the building, and the general nature of the building itself. The entire upgrade project would need to be completed with minimal shut down time at the building. HVAC portion of this project was over $3 million.

  • MSD worked in collaboration with Diaz Construction to complete the system upgrades on time and on budget with minimal shutdowns or disruption to the facility operations.

LJB, Inc.

LJB, Inc. was renovating their Miamisburg, OH office and wanted to incorporate energy-saving upgrades.

  • MSD provided Design Build services in tandem with Greensleeves Energy Solutions, a specialist in geothermal systems.
  • MSD and Greensleeves installed a new geothermal HVAC system with open and closed loops. In addition, MSD design and installed the plumbing portion of the renovation.
