We’ve Moved! Welcome to Our New Home at 4406 Springfield Street

Hello all!

After months of planning, packing, purging, and plenty of pizza, we’re finally settling into our new headquarters at 4406 Springfield Street in Riverside, Ohio—just across the street from our previous home base. We’re still wrapping up a few final touches, but we couldn’t wait any longer to share the excitement with you.

A Fresh Start

This move marks a huge milestone for MSD Inc. Our new building brings together teams from our Tipp City and Dayton offices under one roof, with over eight new meeting spaces (up from just two!). Whether you need a private place to collaborate or prefer an open huddle, there’s a spot for you.

And speaking of changes—our Tipp City location is officially closed. We’re so grateful for the memories made there and are excited to see what this next chapter brings.

What’s New?

Let’s just say… a lot.

  • New Seating Options: A thoughtful mix of open and closed seating creates a warm, collaborative environment.
  • Brand New Kitchen: Designed as a space to relax, eat, and reconnect—this has already been a team favorite.
  • On-Site Gym: Our next big project is getting this space ready for the team to use. Wellness matters!
  • Storage & Service Bay: With ample space for our service techs to prep their trucks and load up, we’re streamlining daily workflows like never before.

Plus, our original building at 4401 Springfield Street isn’t going away—it’s being transformed into an expanded space for our Prefabrication and Sheet Metal Shop. Stay tuned… big things are coming over there too.

What’s Next?

We’re still putting the finishing touches on everything (bare with us!) but we’re already gearing up for a grand opening and ribbon cutting celebration this August. Keep your eyes out for those details—we’d love to have you stop by and see it all come together.

WPAFB Sensors Lab

Wright-Patt Air Force Base sought contractors to renovate and add onto the Sensors Lab. The HVAC portion of the project was over $13 million.

  • MSD served as the Design Assist Contractor in conjunction with Heapy Engineering for this project. In collaborating with General Contractor, Butt Construction, MSD provided Design Assist solutions for the following:
    • A large, anechoic chamber
    • An outdoor range
    • Multiple, Class-100 clean rooms
    • A three-story office building addition with DCID 6-9 requirements on many of the rooms

WPAFB Chilled Water System

The chilled water system at a high-security building on the Air Force Base was undersized and unable to keep up with demand. The facility could not operate without chilled water due to the amount of information servers in the building, and the general nature of the building itself. The entire upgrade project would need to be completed with minimal shut down time at the building. HVAC portion of this project was over $3 million.

  • MSD worked in collaboration with Diaz Construction to complete the system upgrades on time and on budget with minimal shutdowns or disruption to the facility operations.

LJB, Inc.

LJB, Inc. was renovating their Miamisburg, OH office and wanted to incorporate energy-saving upgrades.

  • MSD provided Design Build services in tandem with Greensleeves Energy Solutions, a specialist in geothermal systems.
  • MSD and Greensleeves installed a new geothermal HVAC system with open and closed loops. In addition, MSD design and installed the plumbing portion of the renovation.
