This past weekend, our MSD Inc. team hit the pavement (and the pink carpet!) for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in Dayton, Ohio. It was an incredible morning filled with energy, laughter, and a shared mission — to support survivors, remember loved ones, and raise awareness for breast cancer research.
Walking for a Cause
The event brought out hundreds of walkers from across the community, all decked out in pink and ready to make a difference. There was music, dancing, and more smiles than we could count. Whether walking, cheering, or snapping photos, our team came together with one goal: to show up and support the American Cancer Society and everyone affected by breast cancer.
A Surprise Hit: The Goats! 🐐
Yes — you read that right! There were goats at the walk, and they instantly stole the show. Our team couldn’t resist spending time with them (which, if you know us, won’t surprise you one bit). Somehow, goats have become a recurring theme at MSD events… and we’re not mad about it. Between the laughter, selfies, and goat snuggles, this walk definitely earned a spot on our list of favorite community moments.
Why Community Involvement Matters to Us ❤️
At MSD Inc., we believe community involvement isn’t just something we do — it’s part of who we are. We live and work in the same neighborhoods as the people and businesses we serve, and giving back is our way of saying thank you.
Whether it’s walking for a cause, sponsoring local youth programs, or lending a hand at charity events, we see community support as an essential part of our company culture. It strengthens our relationships, builds pride within our team, and reminds us that success means more when it’s shared.
We encourage our team members to get involved in the causes that matter most to them — and it’s incredible to see how those efforts bring everyone closer together. Supporting organizations like the American Cancer Society is about more than just donations or time — it’s about connection, compassion, and collective impact.
Our Team Spirit
From early risers to pink-tutu enthusiasts, our crew showed up with full hearts and plenty of energy. The best part was seeing everyone come together for a cause that touches so many lives. Being part of the Making Strides walk reminded us why community events matter so much — they bring people together, spark joy, and make a real difference.
Until Next Time
We left the event inspired, grateful, and maybe just a little obsessed with goats. Huge thanks to the American Cancer Society for organizing such a meaningful event and to everyone who joined the walk. We can’t wait to keep showing up for our community, one stride (and one goat interaction) at a time!
