Celebrating the Season: MSD, Inc.’s Annual Christmas Party & Year of Giving

We wrapped up an incredible year and kicked off the holiday season with our annual MSD, Inc. Christmas Party, and what a night it was. This event is always one of our favorites, filled with gratitude, celebration, and connection, and this year was no exception.

First and foremost, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helps make this event possible. So much time, effort, and care go into creating such a memorable evening, and it truly shows. With record-setting attendance, we officially proved that we are outgrowing our venue, an exciting reflection of our continued growth as a company.

A special shout-out goes to our event partners who helped make the night exceptional:
LMR Catering and The Mandalay. Thank you for your outstanding service and support.

Honoring Our Partners & People

This year, we were proud to introduce a new award recognizing those who play a critical role in helping our projects succeed. We were honored to welcome Tom Homan and Ben Rentz of Allied Supply as our 2025 Partner of the Year. Their partnership and support mean a great deal to us, and we are grateful to have them helping keep the gears turning smoothly.

One of the most meaningful parts of the evening is seeing our retirees, whether they join us every year or surprise us with a visit. Catching up, sharing stories, and celebrating together is something we truly cherish.

A Season of Giving

Giving back is at the heart of this time of year for us, and once again, our team went above and beyond.

Food Drive for the Dayton Foodbank
This year, we beat last year’s record, donating an incredible 2,564 pounds of food. A huge thank you to Vicki Dix for not only being part of the Give to Grow Committee, but also for leading and organizing this effort. We know next year will be even bigger.

Journey League, Dayton Chapter
Through raffle ticket sales and the option to donate in place of receiving a holiday gift, we were able to present a $4,538 donation to Journey League Dayton Chapter. This contribution will support uniforms and new equipment for their upcoming 2026 basketball season, and we are honored to support their mission.

The Giving Tree
Our Giving Tree initiative, run by Brandi Dickey, continues to be a team favorite. This year, we were able to support six local families in Dayton and Cincinnati, providing over 100 gifts for children ages 4 to 10. In addition to toys, we included grocery gift cards and extra items for parents and guardians.

Thank you to everyone who donated gifts and funds, and to those who helped wrap and deliver. Your generosity truly made a difference for families who deserve the world.

Grateful and Looking Ahead

As we reflect on this incredible evening and the year behind us, we are filled with gratitude for our team, our partners, our retirees, and our community. Events like this remind us why MSD, Inc. is such a special place.

Here’s to another year of growth, service, and giving back. Happy Holidays from all of us at MSD, Inc.

WPAFB Sensors Lab

Wright-Patt Air Force Base sought contractors to renovate and add onto the Sensors Lab. The HVAC portion of the project was over $13 million.

  • MSD served as the Design Assist Contractor in conjunction with Heapy Engineering for this project. In collaborating with General Contractor, Butt Construction, MSD provided Design Assist solutions for the following:
    • A large, anechoic chamber
    • An outdoor range
    • Multiple, Class-100 clean rooms
    • A three-story office building addition with DCID 6-9 requirements on many of the rooms

WPAFB Chilled Water System

The chilled water system at a high-security building on the Air Force Base was undersized and unable to keep up with demand. The facility could not operate without chilled water due to the amount of information servers in the building, and the general nature of the building itself. The entire upgrade project would need to be completed with minimal shut down time at the building. HVAC portion of this project was over $3 million.

  • MSD worked in collaboration with Diaz Construction to complete the system upgrades on time and on budget with minimal shutdowns or disruption to the facility operations.

LJB, Inc.

LJB, Inc. was renovating their Miamisburg, OH office and wanted to incorporate energy-saving upgrades.

  • MSD provided Design Build services in tandem with Greensleeves Energy Solutions, a specialist in geothermal systems.
  • MSD and Greensleeves installed a new geothermal HVAC system with open and closed loops. In addition, MSD design and installed the plumbing portion of the renovation.
